ABOUT

The Studio Program is in person and it´s located in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Oriented as a platform for the free exchange of knowledge between artists and agents of the local and international cultural field. The practice suggested can take the form of critical reflection as well as productions across different disciplines.

The aim of this format is to develop a variety of transdisciplinary approaches and to learn from each other in a more direct way, supporting the training of thinkers and artists. This is facilitated by a network of professionals who frequently visits and collaborate with the program in the critical monitoring of projects.

The workspace and living quarters are separate. The studio is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This division between workspace and living space is a limitation, but for some of us, it's an advantage.

The Studio Program is perceived as a way of broadening thinking about the institutional and generating an even richer space for dialogue and exchange for participants. Thus, a transdisciplinary and porous format is advocated, understanding art as a field composed of multiple languages and knowledge.

FOR WHOM?

The Studio Program is designed for artists, curators, educators, architects, cultural managers, researchers in art and culture and for all those interested in approaching artistic practices beyond traditional borders. It aims to articulate the previous knowledge of the participants and the coordination and research team, and to prioritize the development of a dialogue on current artistic production.
